(Winchester, MA) – Batik linens from India; Beaded jewelry from Rwanda; woven baskets from Uganda; pottery from Peru; paintings, custom doll clothes, hand-knit items from local Winchester artists; and much more. Discover a unique collection of handmade gifts, home décor, jewelry, and personal accessories from global and local artisans at the Parish of the Epiphany Global Artisan Fair. This one-day event will open its doors from 9:30am until 8pm at Parish of the Epiphany, 70 Church Street in Winchester.
The Artisan Fair will feature vendors whose merchandise reflects a global market or supports artisans in developing countries. We will be showcasing handcrafted items marketed by Ten Thousand Villages, a non profit fair trade organization that helps skilled artisans in some 38 countries receive a fair price for their products.
Proceeds from the fair will support the wide reaching outreach missions of the Parish of the Epiphany such as: El Hogar a school for children in Honduras; Books for South Africa; and local organizations such as the Council for Social Concern, and Rosie’s Place.
Come early and enjoy breakfast at our Artisan Café. The café will feature a menu of delicacies both global and local in flavor, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offering a special kids menu.
Free childcare will be provided from 3 to 7pm.
