The Michael Dunleavy Foundation Inc., presents
A BOUT TO BENEFIT
A Bout to Benefit: a white-collar boxing event, where men and women in white-collar professions train to fight at special events, usually to raise money for charity. The proceeds of this event will go to The Michael Dunleavy Foundation, Inc. The Foundation formed in memory of Michael Dunleavy - an eight year old Winchester boy who passed away in 2001 following an inoperable brain tumor - raises money for Pediatric Cancer Research at Mass General Hospital, and also sponsors programs at Camp Sunshine in Maine.
The event will be held on Saturday March 2nd at 7.00PM at St. James Armenian Apostolic Church, 465 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown. The event will host music, live and silent auctions, perhaps a celebrity guest or two and, of course some very entertaining boxing. These local residents from Boston, Belmont, Cambridge, Somerville, West Roxbury and Worcester, have no boxing experience, and are working very hard with only two months of training before getting in the ring. In an effort to support all their hard work check out their pictures and read their progress on our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ABoutToBenefit
***TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT for this event - however donations can still be made at http://www.michaeldunleavy.com
Thank you for your support!
