"Finding Kind" - Screening Of Independent Documentary

This is a presentation you won't want to miss. The Winchester Coalition for a Safer Community, in partnership with the McCall Parents Association, is pleased to host a screening for mothers and daughters of the acclaimed independent documentary, Finding Kind on Tuesday, January 14th at 7 p.m. in the McCall Auditorium.

Finding Kind is a powerful film that explores the personal experiences and perspectives of several women and girls across the country about what it means to be a girl and why some girls sometimes act “mean.”  Through interviews with women and girls, as well as mental health experts and educators, 20-something filmmakers Lauren Parsekian and Molly Stroud seek to find a “common ground of kindness and mutual respect” by exposing and increasing awareness of social cruelty among girls.

This movie is sure to influence a long lasting dialogue between you and your daughter.
