Community Corner

First Parish's Annual Living Nativity

First Parish Congregational Church invites all to attend our Annual Living Nativity.   It will be presented to the community Saturday, Dec. 14, at 5 p.m. on the Wakefield Common, Lower Falls (at the bandstand).   All are welcome.

The Christmas Story will be narrated as costumed members of First Parish play each scene, which include angels, shepherds, the three wise men, Mary and Joseph, and of course, baby Jesus.  We also have a petting area with real sheep, goats, and more!  Come watch, sing and rejoice with us as we share the real reason for the seaon.   The program runs approximately 1/2 an hour and afterwards please come and join us for hot chocolate and refreshments at First Parish (the grey stone church on the shore of Lake Quannapowitt), which is just across the street from the bandstand.

For additional information, you may call the church office at 781-245-1539.
