Gentle Giant Rowing Club will be holding a Spring Rowing Season for High School Athletes beginning Monday, March 18th through May 30th. Practices are held Monday - Friday from 4pm - 6pm. No prior rowing experience is required - we are recruiting for Novice rowers who have never rowed before as well as athletes who have been in a hull before.
Rowing is the ULTIMATE team sport! The lessons of what can be accomplished through pushing physical and mental limits as well as the importance of teamwork are lessons that stay with our rowers throughout their lives.
GGRC rows out of the Blessing of the Bay Boathouse which is conveniently
located right off of Rt. 93 on the Mystic River at 32 Shore Drive in Somerville, MA. The cost for the Spring Season is $500. To register, please go to www.regattacentral.com/clubs and click on "Gentle Giant Rowing Club" From there please select if the rower is a novice rower (no experience) or a varsity rower (has rowing experience).
