Community Corner

6th annual "Pot of Gold" Raffle

  • Visiting Nurse and Community Health (VNCH) is holding its 6th annual “Pot of Gold” fundraiser on Thursday, October 27 at 6:30 pm at the Sons of Italy Hall, 19 Prentiss Road.  The “Pot of Gold” is a fun-filled evening where participants have the chance to walk away with $10,000!  A delicious buffet will be provided to all guests, and a cash bar will also be available.

  • Tickets are $100 each and only 200 tickets will be sold!  At 7 pm, the first number will be pulled from a drum.

Throughout the evening, numbers will continue to be pulled until, by process of elimination, only 10 ticket numbers remain.  Each of the remaining 10 ticket holders, or their representatives, will be asked if they want to split the $10,000, or continue drawing numbers.  If any finalist feels lucky and chooses to go for the gold, the process continues until only one grand-prize winner remains, or the finalists agree to split the pot.  It will be a definite nail-biter!
