ABC Bottle Drive

The ABC Bottle Drive is this Saturday from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Sons of Italy parking lot. The ABC Bottle Drive is a principal fund-raising event that is conducted twice a year by Winchester's A Better Chance program. Winchester ABC is one of 25 Community School Programs in the National ABC network. Prospective scholars apply to National ABC, and are referred to Winchester ABC’s selection committee. That committee chooses candidates because they saw each candidate as a scholar with talent and as an individual with academic aspirations. Each scholar attends Winchester High School for four years, a well regarded college-preparatory secondary school. The scholars live in a house with the other scholars in the program, the Resident Directors, and Resident Academic Coordinator. There are rules and specific expectations. A group of Winchester ABC volunteers work together to create a home-like environment that enriches and supports each scholar.
