Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Informational Meeting

The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is a project of the Avon Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Since 1992, the Foundation has raised and awarded more than $580 million to breast cancer research and care organizations worldwide. Funds are awarded for breast cancer scientific research, access to treatment, diagnosis and screening, support services, education and awareness, all with a focus on the medically underserved. This hour-long information meeting on the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer – Boston will cover the basics of the Walk – where the money goes, what the event weekend looks like and how you can become a walker, crew member or volunteer for the 2011 Boston Walk (May 14-15, 2011).
