Glen Doherty Inducted into National Wrestling Hall of Fame

Glen Doherty, the former Navy SEAL who was killed in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 was inducted into the Massachusetts chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame last Saturday according to My Fox Boston.

According to Fox, the Winchester native is credited with saving 20 people when the American Embassy was attacked. 

"Wrestling was a foundation of my brother's toughness and Larry Trembly coaching him helped transition him into manhood," said Doherty's brother, Greg told Fox.

A portrait of Doherty was unveiled in the wrestling room at Winchester High School. Doherty was also awarded the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's Medal of Courage.
