Rep. Lewis Welcomes WHS Students to the State House

Students joined U.S. Surgeon General to mark "Kick Butts" Day.

 

Representative Jason Lewis welcomed  students to the State House last week for “Kick Butts” Day. More than 100 students from across the state joined U.S. Surgeon General Regina Benjamin to call attention to the marketing strategies used by the tobacco industry to entice young people to start using tobacco products. Rep. Lewis is the Co-Chair of the legislature's Prevention for Health Caucus which has identified tobacco prevention and cessation as its top legislative priority.
