The fundraiser helped support Live, Learn and Act.

The collective strength of local women was on full display at the on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 4, as little girls in holiday dresses joined their mothers, grandmothers and friends at the Winchester Country Club for a holiday high tea.

The tea, a fundraiser for a girls’ school in rural India, was sponsored by a local organization, Live, Learn, Act. The Ambrose Learning Center is named in honor of the local elementary school which has forged a relationship with the school in India.

Local resident Maura Fredey, attended the event with her mother, sister and daughter, commented about the impact of Live, Learn, Act on her family:  "It makes one really think about what we have and remember that we can't take it for granted. It was great to be able to talk about the organization with my daughter and how Ambrose kids are involved."
