Father, Toddler, Family Dog Struck in Winchester Crosswalk
The father and his 3-year-old daughter suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Their dog was killed.
An 84-year-old Arlington woman was driving an SUV near the intersection of Church and Fletcher streets in Winchester on Sunday morning when she hit a father, his 3-year-old daughter and their dog in a crosswalk, according to a 7News report.
The 72-year-old father broke his hip, and his daughter was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston as well but was expected to be OK, according to the report. Their dog, a poodle, died from the collision.
The crash occurred at about 9:15 a.m., according to a WCVB report. The toddler was thrown from her stroller on impact, according to the report.

The driver was expected to be charged with failing to stay in her lane and not yielding to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, WCVB reports.
