Medford, Somerville Drivers Receive Citations After Accident

At 6:45 a.m. July 29, Winchester police responded to the area of Washington Street and Mystic Valley Parkway for a report of a two-vehicle accident, according to a police report. No tows or transports were reported, according to the report. A 26-year-old Medford man, the driver of a 2007 Toyota Highlander, was cited for operating a vehicle after revocation, according to the report. A 33-year-old Somerville man, driving a 1999 Dodge Ram pick-up truck, was cited for operating a vehicle without being fully licensed, the report adds. Neither vehicle was towed because friends or family members arrived on scene to drive the vehicles, the report adds. Police told the men that they would be summonsed to Woburn District Court, according to the report.

July 29

1:03 p.m.: Police called to Holton Street for a report of a minor accident, according to a police report. A vehicle was backing out of a driveway when it struck another vehicle, the report adds. No tows or transports reported.
