Police: Caller Reported a Mysterious Man in Their Hallway

Dec. 4

1:48 p.m.: Police investigated a car parked in the rear lot of 955 Main Street near Hill Street. The car had no plates, was unlocked and the keys were left in the front seat. The car was towed and police attempted to contact the owner the vehicle was last registered to, which had different plates in the database.

6:20 p.m.: Officers responded to a three-car accident on Washington Street. A car turned onto Fairmount Street, causing the car on Washington Street to hit the breaks. The two cars behind that car collided.

11:04 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in their hallway at 10 Winchester Place. The caller said this person was in the hallway for about 20 minutes. Officers arrived and found this “person” was the neighbor’s Christmas Wreath.

12 p.m.: A car in the Waterfield Lot. The driver took off.

4:45 p.m.: A car rear-ended a truck on Cambridge Street.

 

Dec. 8

11:39 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of credit card theft on Arlington Street. Someone stole $394.50 and charged it to a dry cleaners.
