Police Log: Car Crashes into Winchester Ambulance

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 30, 8:05 p.m. – A Belmont man was cited by police for operating a vehicle with a suspended license and registration. His documents were suspended because he failed to pay child support.

8:40 p.m. – Winchester Police responded to Swanton Street for a domestic dispute.

Tuesday, Jan. 31, 9:42 a.m. – A Stoneham woman was driving along Washington Street when an ambulance came up behind her with its siren on and emergency lights flashing. The woman pulled off to the side of the road.

The ambulance passed the vehicle and turned right onto Brookside Avenue. The woman told police she thought it was going to continue on Washington Street, so she pulled back on to the road. The woman struck the back of the ambulance causing minor damage to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

5:55 p.m. – Winchester Police responded to Irving Street for a domestic dispute.
