The owner of the car had parked it in his driveway at 5 p.m. Tuesday evening and when he went to his driveway at 9 a.m. it was missing. The first transaction was a loan proceeds to shares for $36,323, the second was a withdrawal for $36,308. The man told police that he had notified the major credit bureaus regarding the fraud.

5:03 p.m. –  Police arrived at Winthrop Street where they responded to a motor vehicle break-in. The man informed the officer that over the past two days someone broke into his car and stole a $4,000 photo ionization detector. It was left on the back seat of the car.
