Police Log: Dog Attack and Cars Broken Into

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, March 18, 1:50 p.m. – A Lochwan Street resident told police that her car was parked on the street on St. Patrick’s Day. When she went out today, the driver’s side door was damaged.

5:04 p.m. – Winchester Police were called to Irving Street for a domestic dispute.

7:52 p.m. – While walking his dog, a Water Street resident told police that another dog had come up behind him and bit him in the Achilles. The owner of the dog, a Water Street resident, was not home when police tried to contact her.

Tuesday, March 20, 8:23 a.m. – A Madison Avenue couple told police that their unlocked motor vehicle was broken into. Stolen was $3 worth of change.

11:04 a.m. – A Grove Street man told police that someone entered his unlocked car and stole $20 and his check book.

12:04 p.m. – A Grove Street couple told police someone entered their unlocked car, but nothing appeared to be missing.

5:03 p.m. – A Salisbury Street woman told police that her pocketbook was stolen from her car sometime on Saturday.
