The officer drove the driver to the address on the registration to inform the owner of the vehicle where her car was located.

Both parties told the officer the house is always locked and secure when they leave for the day. The home is currently empty, while work is being done to the house. The homeowner did arrive at the house Tuesday evening to check on the work and he noticed the backdoor was unlocked when he arrived.
