Police Log: Hospital Fight and Tax Disagreement

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Feb. 16, 6:48 a.m. – A Swanton Street resident told police that someone stole two watches from her apartment.

11:33 a.m. – A Main Street resident called police after she heard a car crash into the speed limit sign. The sign was split in half. The woman told police that she did not see the vehicle hit the sign.

4:08 p.m. – Winchester Police responded to Main Street over a disturbance. The CPA of the office told police that two women came in to discuss their case.

The two women became angry with the CPA and started arguing with each other, the secretary called the police.

8:38 p.m. – A Cross Street man told police that the rear window of his 2004 Isuzu was smashed.

Friday, Feb. 17, 8:04 p.m. – Winchester Police were called to Quicley Court to dispose of a sick raccoon.

Saturday, Feb. 18, 3:50 a.m. – A fight that had started at the McDonald’s on Montvale Avenue between two groups of teenagers spilled into the Emergency Room at Winchester Hospital.

One hospital security guard was punched in the face while he was trying to escort the kids outside. The two groups had left the area by the time the police arrived.

Sunday, Feb. 19, 6 p.m. – A Ginn Road teenager told police that her cell phone was stolen from a party she attended.

Tuesday, Feb. 21, 7:32 a.m. – While driving along Main Street a Woburn man told police he went to change the radio station and hit a parked car.
