Police Log: Man Exposed and Rolling Rocks

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 19, 8:26 a.m. – A Sunset Road resident told police that someone threw an egg onto their windshield.

6:14 a.m. – While driving along Bacon Street, an Everett man lost control of his car. The car drove off the road and hit a stonewall located on a Bacon Street home. No injuries were reported.

Shortly after, a Hollywood Road man was driving further down Bacon Street when a rock was rolling towards his car. According to police, the rock cam loose from the stonewall. The driver attempted to avoid it, but couldn’t. The rock struck his car and caused minor damage to the vehicle.

7:25 p.m. – A Forest Street man hit a crosswalk sign while driving along Highland Avenue.

Wednesday, Jan. 11, 1:42 p.m. – A Woburn man was placed into protective custody after exposing himself and publically urinating near the newspaper stands at Waterfield Road near the train station.

3:03 p.m. – Winchester Police were called to the Winchester Country Club after an employee had his car hit by a Coca Cola delivery truck, which then left the scene. The country club caught the accident on video surveillance.

Thursday, Jan. 12, 8:43 a.m. – A Highland Avenue man was walking his dog along Park Avenue when a small, unleashed dog ran up to him. His dog – a pit bull mix – bit the other, smaller dog.

According to the man, and a witness, the owner of the smaller dog eventually arrived and took her dog to the hospital.

9:39 a.m. (955 Main St) – A Canal Street resident had the spare tire from her Jeep Liberty stolen, after parking by the train station on Main Street.
