Police Log: Marchant Road Home Struck By Car

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1:50 p.m. – While watching television Sunday night, a Marchant Road resident who a loud bang and her TV fell to the ground.

When the woman looked outside, she told police she saw a black car had struck her house and drove away. She was unable to get the license number, make or model of the car.

10:54 p.m. – A London resident who is staying at a Berkshire Drive home lost her passport. She believes it fell out when she was running to catch the train at the Winchester Train Station.

Saturday, Nov. 24, 4:30 p.m. – The owner of Another Yarn along Main Street told police that someone stole $445 worth of yarn from the store.

4:53 p.m. – A Woburn man and a Medford man were pulled over along Blossom Hill Road and Cambridge Street and cited $100 for driving with marijuana, not wearing seatbelts and not having their headlights on.

4:57 p.m. – A Winchester woman driving a Subaru and a Woburn woman, driving a Dodge Caravan collided at the intersection of Winthrop Street. One car ran onto a Winthrop Street property, while the other hit a fence and some shrubbery at the home.

Sunday, Nov. 27, 10:28 a.m. – A Wendell Street resident told police that someone broke into her car and stole her purse.
