Police Log: Nurse Assaulted and Needles Found

Wednesday, March 7, 8:23 p.m. – A Boston resident parked in the Town Hall parking lot and informed police that his GPS Garmin ($200) was stolen.

Thursday, March 8, 7:07 a.m. – While walking his dog, a Highland Avenue resident found a plastic bag on the corner of Park Avenue and Highland.

In the bad, the man found four used syringes, some matches, a spoon, among some other materials. There were no drugs found in the bag.

Friday, March 9, 2:02 a.m. – Winchester Police were called to Winchester Hospital for an unruly patient. According to the nurse, the woman, who was being treated for heroine withdrawal was screaming and kicked the nurse in the face.

The nurse had some swelling, but he just wanted to document the incident for future reference.
