Monday, August 16, 6:28 p.m. – Police responded to Salisbury Street where a woman informed the officer that her Garmin GPS was stolen from her unlocked car. The woman informed police that she heard footsteps walking down her driveway around 2 a.m., but decided not to check it out. When she arrived at her car Monday morning she noticed that her car was broken into.

The woman had just gotten a restraining order against him. When she arrived at Oak Street, where she was staying with some friends, her ex-boyfriend quickly showed up at the apartment. Police believed he must have been following her.

When he approached the woman, she smelt alcohol on his breath and believed he was on drugs. When she informed him of the restraining order he got very mad and left. The woman told police that he then left three threatening voice mails on her phone. He threatened to beat her up, hit her friends with a baseball bat and kill them.

When she called the bank, they informed her that an American Airlines ticket worth $205 was purchased, and an attempt was made to purchase an Apple computer. The woman notified the airline, which cancelled the ticket and informed Citibank.

August 17, 2:39 p.m. – Winchester police arrived at South Border Road where the homeowner informed police that she had been robbed. When she returned home, she told police that something didn't feel right.

Her home is under video surveillance and she looked at the security footage to see what happened. At about 12:35 p.m. a white care pulled into the driveway and a white male, who police to believe is in his early 20s, got out of the car, jumped up a small wall and took a statue worth $600 off the top of the fountain. The statue is of a boy and girl standing under an umbrella.

A female got out of the car from the passenger side and helped him load the statue into the back seat. The car pulled out of the driveway and headed toward Medford. The security company is going to try and enlarge the video in order to see the license plate number. The woman is also going to see if her husband can enhance the footage when he gets home.
