Friday, August 13, 6:26 a.m. – While on patrol along Skillings Road, Winchester Police noticed a pick-up truck that sped up to get through a yellow light. The car picked up speed, driving straight through the light, which was turning red.

The officer pulled the car over and the driver, Gilson Rodrigues, informed police this was his car, but he does not have his driver's license on him. After running a check on his name and address, Winchester police could not verify that Rodrigues has a valid Massachusetts state license. The car was driven away by a friend of Rodrigues and he was issued a citation for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

August 13, 11:23 a.m. – Winchester police arrived at Swanton Street where a woman informed the officer that her boyfriend had gone out the night before and had not returned.

She told police that when he left, he had a beer in his hand and was in a good mood. She tried calling him a few times today, but he has not answered his phone. He also did not show up for work that morning. The police then called and left her boyfriend a message.

A few hours later the police received a phone call from the boyfriend. He informed police that he went out with some friends last night and decided to stay over their hours and not drive back drunk. He believes that his girlfriend filed the missing person report out of spite.

She took police to the computer room and the officer believed it was a chain email. The message said that if you break the chain of the letter you will be killed by Mickey Mouse. The email explains, in graphic detail, how several people have died who broke the chain.

August 14, 12:12 p.m. – The Winchester Police and Fire Department arrived along the train tracks off of Lowell Avenue. There was smoke coming from the brush. The trains needed to be stopped in order for the fire department to put out the fire.

The man who called police reporting the fire, informed the officer that he saw a man limp away from the area where the smoke started up, as if he had hurt himself. The caller told police he saw the man limp into the woods towards Leonard's Beach. Officers checked the area and call Winchester Hospital to see if anyone came in with a leg injury. They were unable to find the man.
