Police Log: Three-Car Accident Sends One to the Hospital

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, August 9, 1:35 p.m.  – While driving along Washington Street a Winchester resident stopped suddenly, not seeing the car in front of her. The car behind her, driven by a Wakefield man couldn’t stop in time and he hit her car, which forced it into another car, driven by a Saugus man.

The woman in the lead car was taken to the hospital, complaining of stomach pains. She is two months pregnant and she told police that the seatbelt dug into her stomach.

5:06 p.m. – While driving along Main Street, a Wilmington man was pulled over and given a citation for having his registration revoked.
