Police Log: Winchester Woman Arrested and Flying Rocks

Monday, August 1, 12:03 a.m. – A Cross Street resident told police that, while driving in the Holton Street parking lot, some kids were throwing rocks at his truck.

8:01 a.m. – Winchester Police were called to Emerson Road to dispose of a sick skunk.

6:37 p.m. – A Canterbury Road resident informed police that her unlocked vehicle was entered into, while parked at the boat club. She had $25, a Visa and Bank of America card stolen.

11:54 p.m. – Winchester Police investigated a Swanton Street resident possibly violating his restraining order, but determined that there was not enough evidence to arrest him.

Tuesday, August 2, 9:22 a.m. – Winchester Police pulled over a van that was emitting black smoke from its exhaust, which was creating a “smoke screen.”

The driver – a Medford man – did not have a driver’s license and needed to have the car towed.

2:55 p.m. – A Winchester woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon for assault and battery. Lisa Keay, 47, 11 Royalston Avenue, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery, assault and battery on an elder person and malicious damage of property.

10:12 p.m. – A Pond Street resident told police that someone threw a rock through their dining room window.
