Police Logs: Car Stolen at Winchester Hospital and More

November 26

9:48 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a damaged fire hydrant on Loring Avenue.

5:00 p.m.: A car backed into another on Laraway Road. Minimal damage.

9:30 p.m.: Officers responded to a theft at Winchester Hospital. The caller told police that their son stole their Jeep from the parking lot of the hospital. The caller did not want to press charges.

 

November 27

9:59 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a larceny from an unlocked car on Ledgewood Road. The victim reported about $15 is singles stolen from the cup holder.

10:49 a.m.: A woman reported that there American Express Card was compromised and someone used it to purchase $250 of gas in Virginia.

3:50 p.m.: A car struck another while attempting to turn left on to Washington Street at the intersection of Mystic Valley Parkway.

4:25 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle on Hillside Avenue. The caller told police that somewhere between 9 p.m. and 5:45 that morning, someone had stolen prescription sunglasses, valued at $690 from his unlocked car.
