Police Log: Dogs Attack Dog

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following information is from the Logs which are available to the public.

April 11, 11:50 a.m.: A Ford Taurus was traveling on Forest Street attempting to make a left turn onto Highland Avenue when it collided head on with a Chevy pickup on Forest Street. One driver was taken to Winchester Hospital; both vehicles were towed by Mal’s Towing.

April 11, 1:22 p.m.: Three dogs of unknown breed were off their leashes and attacked a German shorthaired pointer. The pointer sustained bites to the neck, leg and chest. The owner of the pointer said that there had been previous issues with the three dogs.

April 11, 7:55 p.m.: Residents on Park Road returned home to find the front door slightly damaged but nothing inside was taken. The resident found the front door jammed and after a light push, the lock fell out of the door. It was hard to tell if someone purposely damaged the lock or if it was from wear and tear from the door making constant contact.
