Police Logs for April 20 to April 22

The following information was supplied by the Winchester PD. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Friday, April 20

10:23 a.m.: A Hummer traveling eastbound on Swanton Street attempted to take a left hand turn on to McKay Ave. when a motorcycle heading west on Swanton St. collided into the side of the Hummer. The operator of the Hummer was cited for failure to yield to right of way.

11:31 a.m.: A Chevy Aveo was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Church Street. When the light turned green, the Chevy operator let a car turn and was rear-ended by a Subaru Outback. Driver of the Chevy was taken to Winchester Hospital.

12:01 p.m.: Someone bashed in the windshield of a 2006 Audi Sedan on Salem St. The vehicle in question was parked in the residents’ driveway.

Sunday, April 22

8:44 a.m.: Someone found a credit card outside of D’Agostino’s Deli sometime around 1 p.m. on Saturday. The card was turned in to the police.

3:38 p.m.: A 2010 Mazda 3 ran out of gas near Swanton and Loring St. Upon further investigation, the front end of the car had sustained moderate to heavy damage after the driver had fallen asleep and hit a telephone poll somewhere in Medford. The vehicle was towed by Mal’s Towing.
