Police Logs for Sunday, May 13

The following information was supplied by the Winchester PD. It does not indicate a conviction.


7:41 a.m.: Someone tried to steal a copper driveway lamp on Swan Road between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Sunday.

12:48 a.m.: Two minors were picked up for trespassing near Judkin Green. One of the minors had a marijuana pipe, but no marijuana. The sign on Judkin Green reads: “No Trespassing, Police Take Notice.” Thus, the two minors will be summoned to Lowell Juvenile Court for criminal trespassing.

10:34 a.m.: Vandalism reported at the construction site at the Graystone Circle Townhouse Complex. A pallet of composite deck wood had been damaged by a saw and had been thrown about. The approximate value of the wood is $2,000.00. The wood was discovered the night before.

11:44 a.m.: Thefts at at Manchester Road neighborhood were reported. Sometime during the night, a black leather jacket, bucket style motorcycle helmet, a set of work keys, motorcycle keys and a bicycle were missing and the passenger side of a Mercedes was left open, though nothing was taken. The interior of the garage was in order at 11 p.m. the night before and the door was left open. The bicycle and helmet were found on the Waterfield Street Bridge. Investigation is on going.

11:45 a.m.: Reports of a dog attack on Richardson Street involving a woman getting attacked by a dog in her neighborhood. The owner of the dog claimed that they had not witnessed the attack and that the victim had not mentioned it when the owner chased after their dog.

2:40 p.m.: Black Verizon cell phone found. Officer was unable to determine the owner.
