Police Logs: Iron Pig, Rabbit Stolen

Friday, June 1

7:39 a.m.: A Honda Pilot failed to yield when it was turning left from Mt. Pleasant Street and collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee heading north on Highland Avenue. No injuries were reported, and both vehicles drove off from the scene.

12:52 p.m.: A cast iron rabbit and pig valued at $100 each were reported stolen from a Main Street home. The lawn ornaments were located in front of the garage.

3:38 p.m.: A Stoneham resident turned in a red wallet that was found in front of . The number listed with the name on the license for the Medford resident did not work and Medford police did not have the name on file. The wallet contained a debit card, credit card and several rewards cards.

6:20 a.m.: A Winchester resident reported a white, short-bed, pick-up truck doing donuts in the near the school parking lot next to Brantwood Road. The truck had already left once the officer arrived. There was minimal damage to the field including a couple of tire marks and some torn up grass. The truck was not found.

Sunday, June 3

6:18 p.m.: The glass on the side mirror of a Toyota Corolla was damaged while parked on Horn Pond Brook Road. The owner said she suspected the damage was caused by neighborhood children playing in the street and asked the officer to question a child who may have information to the cause of the damage. The child was unaware of the incident.
