Police Logs March 26 to March 29

Monday, March 26

1:05 p.m. – A Winchester man lost his Social Security Card while in the process of applying for another one. The man was concerned that his identity had been compromised when he entered his information into a website but the matter was a misunderstanding. Officers advised the man to monitor his bank and credit card accounts just in case.

8:19 p.m. -  The right front passenger side window was smashed out of a Honda CRV at . The car had been parked at 6:15 p.m. and the damage was found at 8:15 p.m.

Wednesday, March 28

11:21 a.m. – A Winchester man had $269.96 dollars spent in England from his debit card, which he denied making and canceled his card. He is not sure if he will be reimbursed for the fraud.

4:25 p.m. – The driver’s side window of a Chevy SUV had been smashed in and a Magellan GPS and cellphone power chord had been taken in the area of Elmwood Ave.

7:54 p.m. – A Saturn traveling southbound on Route 3A/Cambridge Street at Church Street failed to yield to the right of way, causing a crash with a Hyundai traveling northbound.

Thursday, March 29

6:45 a.m. – A Lawrence man’s Toyota Corolla rolled through a stop sign located at Washington and Main Street. The driver’s license had been suspended. The passenger was allowed to drive the car away.

8:20 a.m. – Sometime over night between 12:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., someone stole all four tires off of a Honda Fit in the driveway of a residency on the corner of Washington Street and Cross Street. The lug nuts were scattered about the driveway.

10:56 a.m.- A Toyota Corolla was attempting to make a U-turn from its parked position at 25 Lebanon St. and sideswiped another Toyota Corolla, which was traveling on Lebanon Street. Minor damage was sustained to both vehicles, no injuries reported.

5:56 p.m. - A Toyota Sequoia was heading west on Cross Street at a high rate of speed. The driver was on her cellphone and did not pull over. The Winchester woman’s license had been suspended. She was picked up by a licensed driver and driven away.

6:24 p.m. - A Hyundia was parked on the right hand side of the Main Street driveway of Winchester Hospital when it pulled out and struck a Ford Van which was passing the driveway.
