Police Logs: Thrown Rock Dents Car

Wednesday, July 11

10:22 a.m.: A Plymouth minivan was reportedly vandalized while in the owner’s driveway on Rangley Road. The driver’s side rear slider window was shattered, but nothing was missing and the vehicle was locked. The officer said it is possible heat caused the window to break.

5:45 p.m.: A GMC Yukon collided with a Toyota Corolla on Main Street near Swanton Street. The Corolla was attempting to pull into the traffic lane when the vehicles collided.

Thursday, July 12

5:52 p.m.: A resident complained about a rock being thrown at her car on Laraway Road near the railroad tracks. The rock caused a small dent in the hood of the Honda Odessey. The driver said she believed a group of kids she saw nearby were responsible. The officer said there were no witnesses, and he could no locate the youths.
