Police Respond to Multiple Accidents in Winchester

July 24
8:37 a.m.: Police called to Wilson Street for a report of a two-vehicle accident, according to a police report. A parked gray 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan was damaged by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene, according to the report. The Volkswagen did not need to be towed, the report adds.
11:05 a.m.: Police pulled over the operator of a scooter for allegedly texting while driving on Grove Street, according to a police report. A 22-year-old Revere man, who claimed to be using his GPS while driving, was cited for operating a vehicle after suspension and the scooter was towed from the scene, according to the report.

July 25

1:30 p.m.: Police responded to a three-vehicle accident in the area of Main and Hill Streets, according to a police report. Two vehicles were towed, and no transports were reported.

July 26

12:39 a.m.: Police called to Cambridge Street on a report of a hit-and-run accident, according to a police report. No tows or transports reported.
