Safe, Cash Stolen from a Vehicle in Winchester

At 1:39 p.m. July 10, Winchester Police responded to James Street for a report of a past larceny, according to a police report. Sometime between 11 p.m. July 9 and 8 a.m. July 10, someone entered a man's unlocked 2000 Buick Century and stole a small black safe containing $400-$600, according to the report. Police told him to secure valuables in his house in the future, the report adds.

July 9

8:59 a.m.: Police stopped a tan Ford Taurus on Cambridge Street for having an expired registration sticker, according to a police report. The vehicle was towed from the scene, and a 26-year-old Billerica woman was told by police that she would be cited for having an expired registration sticker, the report adds.

2:04 p.m.: Police called to Foxcroft Road on a report of minor vandalism to a home, according to a police report. The caller claimed that sometime on July 7 the garage door was hit with what appeared to be a BB pellet, according to the report.

July 10

1:05 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Lockeland and Mayflower Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident, according to a police report. One vehicle was towed from the scene, and no transports reported.
