Swears, Phallic Images Carved into Cars in Winchester

At 11:13 a.m. June 22, Winchester police responded to Oxford Street for a report of vehicle vandalism, according to a police report. According to the report, a woman told police "someone scratched a diagram of a male organ along with the word '[expletive] it' on the hood of her 2012 (Mercedes) C300."

At 9:30 p.m. June 24, police responded to Oxford Street on a report of vehicle vandalism, according to a police report. Sometime between June 22 and June 24, someone "carved the words 'I like [expletive]' into the trunk" of a man's 2005 VW Jetta, according to the report. A penis was also reportedly carved into the trunk.

June 20

9:52 a.m.: Police responded to Shore Road for a report of vandalism to an office building, according to a police report. A wood-and-steel sign, which was reportedly damaged two Saturdays ago, located in front of the law office, was destroyed. The estimated value of the sign was $300, according to the report. 

3 p.m.: Police responded to the intersection of High Street and Westland Avenue for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident involving a school bus and a car, according to a police report. No tows or transports reported. 

June 21

8:30 a.m.: Police called to the intersection of Lowell Avenue and Cross Street on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, according to a police report. A woman was struck by Ford Econovan, registered to Comcast, and suffered a minor bump and gash on the back of her head, according to the report. She was transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington, the report adds. No citations were issues, and no tows were reported.

9:07 a.m.: Police responded to Arlington Street on a report of a theft and vandalism to a motor vehicle, according to a police report. The vehicle's rear driver's side window was smashed and a Toshiba laptop, valued at $1,100 and stored inside a black carrying case, was stolen, according to the report. 

3:04 p.m.: Police conducted a random registration check on an unoccupied vehicle parked at Robinson Park. The vehicle was towed from the site, and a 30-year-old Lowell woman, listed as the current owner, would be cited for allowing an unregistered motor vehicle to be operated on a public way by the vehicle's new owner, according to the report.

3:40 p.m.: Police called to the intersection of Bacon and Church Streets for a report of a two-vehicle accident, according to a police report. No tows or transports reported. 

June 22

1:15 p.m.: Police called to the intersection of Arlington and Cambridge Streets on a report of a vehicle hitting a bicyclist, according to a police report. The bicyclist suffered minor abrasions on his legs and declined medical treatment, and his bicycle was damaged during the accident, according to the report. No citations were issued, and no tows reported.

8:58 p.m.: Police responded to Wedgemere Avenue on a report of a larceny from a vehicle, according to a police report. Ornaments on the front and rear sections of a 1979 Corvette were taken off the vehicle, while a rear ornament was stolen off of a 2006 Lexus, according to the report. The vehicles were parked in the homeowner's driveway when the thefts occurred, the report adds.

June 23

2:10 p.m.: Police conducted detail through the Fells Road area of the Middlesex Fells Reservation, according to a police report. During the patrol, police issued 10 $50 civil citations to people found in the middle reservoir, six $50 civil citations to people seen in the north reservoir and five $50 civil citations to those found in the south reservoir, according to the report. 

3:17 p.m.: Police responded to Washington Street for a report of a two-vehicle accident, according to a police report. A gray 2013 Honda Accord, driven by a Somerville woman, was rear-ended by a grey 2003 BMW 325XI, operated by a Lynn man, according to the report. The woman sustained a bruise on her wrist when the airbag deployed, but she declined medical treatment and was able to drive the car home, according to the report. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Lynn man's car was towed from the scene, and he was issued a citation for operating a vehicle without a license, second offense, according to the report.

June 24

10:05 a.m.: Police called to the intersection of Pond and Cambridge Streets on a report of a two-vehicle accident, according to a police report. One vehicle was towed, and a woman was taken to Lahey Clinic for evaluation, according to the report. 

10:44 a.m.: Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Skillings Road and Main Street after the driver allegedly failed to use their directionals twice, according to a police report. A 48-year-old Dorchester woman was cited for failing to use a directional, failing to wear a seatbelt and operating a vehicle with a suspended license, according to the report. A friend drove the woman's vehicle from the scene, the report adds.

11:13 a.m.: Police responded to a three-vehicle accident on Skillings Road, according to a police report. Two vehicles were stopped while people used the crosswalk, when a third vehicle rear-ended the second vehicle, which resulted in the second vehicle hitting the first vehicle, according to the report. The second and third vehicles were towed from the scene, and no one was injured during the accident, according to the report. 

5:50 p.m.: Police conducted a detail in the Middlesex Fells Reservoir, according to a police report. Several people were given $50 civil citations for swimming/trespassing in the north reservoir, according to the report. 

June 25

8:16 a.m.: Police called to Main Street for a report of a single-vehicle crash, according to a police report. The operator of a large white box truck reportedly took his eyes off the road momentarily, went off the road and struck a chain-link fence. A 33-year-old Woburn man, driving a Minuteman Meats Inc. truck, and his passenger were not injured during the crash, according to the report. The truck had minor front-end damage and a broken windshield, while several branches were broken off a tree and damage was done to the lawn on the Verizon property, according to the report. The Woburn man was cited for operating a vehicle after suspension, the report adds.

12:35 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Lawson Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident, according to a police report. No tows or transports reported.
