Two Arrested Reported in Police Logs for Oct. 11 to Oct. 12

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.

10:31 a.m., Oct. 11: Officers came across a Mitsubishi Galant parked illegally in a restricted area on Maple Street. The officer issued the driver a parking citation. When the officer ran the registration information, it showed that the registration was revoked and there was a warrant out for the driver’s arrest. The vehicle was towed and the plates were removed. The owner of the car called the station at about 9:37 p.m.. On arrival, the officer explained why the car was towed, then arrested the driver due to the active warrant. Gregory Wong, 31, of 988 Greendale Avenue, Needham was charged with failure to stop and operating without a license.

3 p.m., Oct. 11: A driver hit a pole on Emerson Road and Arlington Street. No injuries were reported.

8:10 p.m., Oct. 11: A vehicle struck another on Main Street.

12:58 a.m., Oct. 12: Officers issued an arrest warrant for John Nee, 50, 28 Baldwin Street and charged him with probation violation.
