Two Winchester Men Arrested for Assault and Battery

Two Winchester men were arrested Friday morning for assault and battery.

According to , Corey Macinnes, 22, 47 Holland St., Winchester and Eric Austin, 20, 229 Pond St., Winchester were arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon at 11:55 a.m., Friday, June 17.

According to police, Macinnes and Austin were at Macinnes’ Holland Street home Thursday night when a Waltham woman, along with her friend, a Woburn resident, arrived.

Austin and the woman began to get into an argument, when Austin pushed her. She then hit him in the back of the head, according to the report.

According to the Waltham woman, Macinnes then attacked her friend, throwing her on the ground and kicking her in the face.

Other witnesses in the apartment denied anyone was pushed to the ground or kicked.

Both men were transported to Woburn District Court Friday afternoon.
