Vehicle Strikes Town Pantry on Main Street; No Injuries

The Winchester Fire Department confirmed that a single vehicle struck the Town Pantry building at 747 Main St.

 

A single vehicle struck a corner of the building at 747 Main St. a little after 9:30 p.m. Friday night.

Captain Ken Temple of the said nobody was injured in the accident. As of the writing of this article the full report had not been finalized and Temple said he was not sure how many occupants were in the vehicle that struck the building.

There was some damage to the Town Pantry building, the most notable being the breaking of a glass window, Temple said.

When Patch spoke to Temple at 11 p.m. Friday night the captain said the incident was resolved and all emergency clews had left the scene.
