Winchester Man Charged in Three Hour Standoff

A Winchester man was charged with criminal threatening with a firearm and causing a police a three-hour-long standoff at a University of Southern Maine frat house according to CBS Boston.

Police said Alan-Michael Santos, 23, entered the Sigmu Nu fraternity house at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 and threatened frat brothers with a firearm.

Police surrounded the house at about 8:30 p.m. and the house was evacuated with no one injured. Santos then barricaded himself in a room until he surrendered at around 11:30 p.m..
