Woman Injured in Church Street Accident
At 5:30 p.m. July 7, Winchester police responded to the area of Church and School Streets for a report of a motor vehicle accident, according to a police report. A Hertz truck sideswiped a legally parked vehicle on Church Street, and both vehicle sustained damage and needed to be towed from the scene, according to the report. A woman was taken to Winchester Hospital with a possible neck or spine injury, the report noted.

6 p.m.: Police conducted a detail at the Middlesex Fells Reservation, and several people were issued citations for trespassing in the town’s water supply, according to a police report.

3:31 p.m.: Police called to Kendall Street for a report of a past larceny from a vehicle, according to a police report. A woman claimed she parked in front of the CVS on Main Street for about 15 minutes, and when she returned she noticed a green Whole Foods bag with a pair of prescription glasses and two dollars cash missing from the front seat on June 27, according to the report.
7:27 p.m.: Police responded to Bacon Street for a report of a hood ornament stolen off of a 1991 Mercedes 300SEL sometime in the past two weeks, according to a police report. The car had been parked under a carport behind the home when the ornament was discovered missing, the report adds.
