City Hosts Voter Registration Session

Friday is the last day to register to vote for the State Primary Sept. 6.

The Board of Registrars is hosting a Voter Registration Session at the Public Safety Building on Friday which is also the last day to register to vote.

The informational session will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Community Room First Floor at 30-32 Mount Vernon St.

Registration forms must be postmarked by Friday and can also be picked up at the , or downloaded from the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website.

U.S. citizens who will be 18 or over on or before Sept. 6 and who are not registered in Winchester can register to vote at the .

  • Monday  through Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

for registered voters by mail or at Town Hall. Ballots must be completed by noon Sept. 5.

Voters do not have to register with a party in the state primaries. However, in primary elections, a voter must specify the ballot of the party of choice in the application.

Applications may be obtained from the Town Clerk or online at www.winchester.us. They can be submitted in person or by mail to 71 Mt. Vernon St., Winchester, MA 01890.

The polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
