Committee to Vote on Redistricting Plan Tonight

Here is some information to get you through Thursday, June 7.

2. The Winchester School Committee will take action on the proposed redistricting plan tonight. At Tuesday's public hearing, the community expressed both positive and negative feedback about the Redistricting Advisory Committee's plan. The School Committee, who has the final vote on the plan, explained the redistricting has to happen, but the community is at a point of finding the best solution. There was discussion of tabling the decision and also finalizing plans before families leave for summer vacation. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
