Chocolate American Style with Susan Schwartz

Back by popular demand! This is an all new reprise of the 2008 CHOCOLATE program led by Lora Brody with Susan Schwartz that everyone at the Jenks Center remembers fondly.

Chocolate is a universal love - delicious, historic and now recognized as healthful as well!  In this program we will talk a bit about chocolate manufacturing and history, what makes a chocolate bar delicious, and maybe best of all, we will taste a variety of chocolates.

In this way you will learn what chocolate best suits your palate and which chocolates to use in your cooking and baking.  A quick and easy treat using chocolate will also be demonstrated.
