Planning for Financial Uncertainty: the end of the Bush tax cuts ... and what to do about it

Congress has just weeks to decide whether to extend or modify the Bush Tax Cuts, slated to end on December 31, 2010. Absent such action, tax rates will revert to 2001 levels, raising income, capital gains and estate taxes for many people. Depending on what Congress does, different planning strategies are available to minimize your tax exposure so more of your money stays in your pocket for you and your family.

Join us for a summary of these issues, what they mean for you and your family, and planning strategies to consider both before and after January 1.

The workshop will be led by estate planning attorney David Adams and a financial planner at Robbins Library (near Arlington Center) on Saturday, November 6, from 1:30-3 PM.
