Enrollment growth, an anticipated move of school administration to Parkhurst Elementary, and the expected opening of a larger Vinson-Owen Elementary School in September 2013 necessitate the School District redraft elementary school boundaries. A Superintendent’s advisory committee has been convened and charged with reviewing enrollment projections and alternate models and making recommendations by May 2012.
We are seeking input from all community stakeholders as we start this process.
