Speaker: Pond Expert Bill Frytag

The Backyard Garden Club will host pond expert Bill Frytag from Country Gardens of Rowley on Thursday, Nov. 3, 6:30 p.m., in the Wakefield Library conference room, 345 Main St., Wakefield.

Country Garden of Rowley, established in 1978, is the North Shore’s largest water garden center, dedicated to helping others find their passion and create a backyard paradise of their own. This event is free to the public; if you have thought about creating a pond or have any questions about an existing one, join the meeting.

Members of the Backyard Garden Club enjoy other speakers, events and yearly member garden visits. Dues cost only $10 a year. Members meet once a month during the fall and winter. For information, contact either Rose Sena at 781-665-2241 or Marilyn Willett at 781-438-4188.
