UNITED STATES HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM PRESENTS: The World Memory Project: The Power of Truth Is In Your Hands

As part of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s dedication to bringing Holocaust educational and informational programming to communities nationwide, Steven Vitto of the Museum’s Holocaust Survivors and Victims’ Resource Center will speak about the Museum’s World Memory Project and the unique partnership with Ancestry.com in Boston on March 6 at 7 p.m.

The World Memory Project, created by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Ancestry.com, is engaging the public to help build the largest online resource for information about victims of the Holocaust and Nazi era persecution—and bringing it to the world for free.

Vitto along with special guests; Israel Arbeiter, Holocaust survivor; and Loran Galler Rabinowitz, granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and 2010 Miss Massachusetts, will discuss the importance of this information and the magnitude of making this information accessible and searchable from anywhere in the world.
