Winchester Reads: "Shelter: Where Harvard Meets the Homeless" by Dr. Scott Seider

This program is free and open to the public. On Tuesday, October 18th at 7:30 p.m. at the Jenks Center, and as a related program to the Winchester Reads book "Good to a Fault" by Marina Endicott, Dr. Scott Seider, Education Professor at Boston University will talk about his new book "Shelter: Where Harvard Meets the Homeless", the story of the only student-run shelter in the nation.  Coffee and cookies will be available at 7:00 p.m.

 Marina Endicott will be in Winchester on Tuesday, November 1st at McCall Middle School at 7:30 p.m. to speak about her Winchester Reads 2011 book, "Good to a Fault".  This book is a story about what it means to be a good Samaritan.  Clara Purdy takes a homeless family into her home and wrestles with the dilemma of doing good and being good.
