WINCHESTER'S WONDERFUL WRIGHT-LOCKE FARM

Sally Quinn is a Winchester resident and the Vice-President of the Wright-Locke Farm Conservancy. She will be showing slides and speaking about the Wright-Locke Farm at the Jenks Center on Thursday, March 22 from 7:30-8:30 p.m with coffee and cookies available at 7 p.m.

The Wright-Locke Farm was purchased by the Town of Winchester in 2007.  This historic treasure, farmed continually since the 1650's is now operated by the Wright-Locke Farm Conservancy, a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization made up of 11 Winchester residents appointed by various town boards.  The Conservancy has been hard at work expanding the scope of the farm in order to protect and maintain its historic buildings and open land.

Come and learn about the new greenhouse, the chickens, the beehives and the education program that will welcome children to the farm.
